November 4: Grizzly Peak then Lost Creek Falls
TH: Up DIM 6.5 miles to left onto Shale City Road, to Left at Grizzly Peak sign, 3 miles out to parking.
Description: Up a flowered trail through the forest to the top. Hike the trail clockwise, and stop for views down into the valley and surrounding mountains. 5.5 miles RT, 1,200' gain. Then follow Shale City road around to the turnoff for Lost Creek Falls a short hike with big scenic returns!

November 11: Enchanted Forest to Felton Memorial
TH: Drive through Jacksonville and take Highway 238 towards Applegate for 15 miles. Just before downtown Applegate and the bridge, make a right onto North Applegate Road for 4.5 miles to a fork where you go right on Kubli Road for 400' and then right on Slagle Creek Road for 1.5 miles to the TH at pavement end. EDT: 60 minutes. Description: Hike through the forest of Ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, and Madrone and cross through a meadow. At 0.7 miles, fork right onto the Felton Trail among viewpoints and Madrone to trails end at a granite memorial for three men who died there in a helicopter crash in 1993. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 80 miles.
November 18: Emigrant Lake on Dam to Cemetery and trails
TH: From Rite Aid, drive out Highway 66 to a left turn in front of Emigrant Lake Dam and a right turn into the parking lot. We will walk across the Dam and on to the Pioneer Cemetery. We'll continue on trails down by the lake. We may get some rain and snow when we arrive, the snow level is predicted to be down to 3,000'. Temps in the 30s to low 40s. Dress warm and for rain. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 20 miles.
November 25: Lost Creek Lake Combo Hike Leave from Rite Aid at 8:30.
TH: Take Highway 62 to Lost Creek Lake and turn left onto Takelma Road at "Fish Hatchery" sign; drive past fish hatchery, power plant and dam to the turn to the boat ramp at 2.2 miles from Highway 62. Continue 0.4 miles to the boat ramp parking lot / TH. EDT: 75 minutes. Description: Do an out and back along the shoreline. After lunch in the picnic area, we'l do an out and back across William Jess Dam. Seven miles total with maybe 300' of gain. Weather Forecast. RT mileage: 100 miles.
