Leave from the CVS parking lot on Ashland Street at 9:00 AM unless otherwise indicated. Bring water, lunch, hat, sunscreen and rain gear as appropriate. March 4: Green Springs Mountain Loop Hike Leader: Bob
TH: Parking area is off Highway 66, just across the street to the Hobart Bluff trailhead. This is a relatively easy hike, and we will keep a reasonable pace. If you are not a Wednesday regular, please feel free to join us! Weather Forecast. RT mileage: 40 miles.

March 11 -Lost Creek Lake (west shore) (p. 82 in 100 Hikes) Hike Leader: Leslie   
TH: Take Highway 62 to Lost Creek Lake and turn left onto Takelma Road at "Fish Hatchery" sign; drive past fish hatchery, power plant and dam to the turn to the boat ramp at 2.2 miles from Highway 62. Continue 0.4 miles to the boat ramp parking lot / TH. EDT: 75 minutes. Description: follow Lost Creek Lake trail to our usual lunch bench; return the same way Distance: 9.6 miles; elevation gain: about 1,000 feet. Weather Forecast. RT mileage: 100 miles.

March 18: PCT - Castle Crags - North from Dog Creek to Sabin's Point  (must be DRY):  Hike Leader: Bob Leave at 8:00 AM
TH: Head south on I-5 to the Castle Crags exit (724). Right on Castle Creek Road for 3.3 miles to the Dog Creek TH on the right at an old mine. EDT: 90 minutes. Description: Take the 4W18 spur trail 0.7 mile to its junction with the PCT. Left on the PCT and head north on the shoulder of Castle Crags above the North Fork of Castle Creek to Sabin's Point for lunch. Great views of the Crags and the canyon. Poles are useful on this hike. Distance: 10 miles. Elevation delta: 1,920'. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 180 miles.

March 25: Upper Rogue River Trail: Woodruff Creek to Natural Bridge: Hike Leader: Bob  Leave at 8:30 Hike leader: Bob
TH: Take Highway 62 towards Crater Lake and make a left onto FS 68 about 7 miles beyond Prospect; continue 2 miles to the TH at Woodruff Bridge. EDT: 90 minutes. Description: Follow the river upstream from Woodruff Bridge  We will stop around Natural Bridge and have lunch before returning to Woodruff Bridge. Distance: about 7 miles; elevation gain: 300 feet.  Weather forecast. RT driving mileage: 140 miles.
